San Diego Fun!

Glad to be on VaCaTiOn!!!

In May we met my parents in San Diego. So fun, this is the vacation of my childhood, my parents have had this condo forever, so the old memories are just as fun as the new ones! Dang I am only about 6 months along, and it looks like I swallowed a watermelon!

One of my favorite times in the world are when my kids are snuggled close to their grandparents sharing a book! My parents must love it too since I get to see it so often!

Totally engrossed!

We discovered a fun aquarium (by necessity, since I was too cheep to spring $400 for Sea World!). We had a great time, except for the 4.6 minutes we lost track of Isaac. He was a bit enthusiastic and wandered into the dark aquarium while we paid. Needless to say we all took a child at that point, and was glad Owen slept in the stroller for most of it!

Owen just woke up.

Seal beach in La Jolla. See that grinning child, soon to be removed and replaced with his evil twin! Too much fun on too little sleep!

Owen felt the need to run for the saftey bar in the elevator EVERY time we entered, it became quite comical as he pushed past us and anyone in his way of holding on for dear life during the short one floor ride up to our condo!

Love how this turned out, I wanted to make book ends with pictures like this, but his brothers wouldn't accommodate as well as my big boy did! Notice the jackets, yea, it was pretty dang cold a lot of the time we were there. But the beach is the beach right!

Too bad this beach is tainted for Dave now as the place he lost his work cell phone, only to be found by a bunch of kids in a surf camp, and returned the next day.

We had tons of fun, and great food! Yeah for Granddads roof top bbq steaks! And it doesn't get much better then dolphin watching from the comfort of our own balcony. This was a very kid friendly vacation, and just what the Dr. ordered for us!
