Oh how I love cheep entertainment! The boys love to "paint" and it will occupy their attention for quite a while! Isaac and Owen are becoming pals. With Seth in school, and Owen willing to follow Isaac's lead, they have developed a fun little friendship.
Book time with daddy. Side note for posterity, that crocheted blanket is Owen's favorite, he likes to get it all tangled up in his fingers while he sucks his thumb. And he will only suck the thumb on his left hand, and generally only when he is tired.
One night on a whim, I decided we needed to camp out in the back yard, it was close to bed time, but Dave obliged me anyway. We whipped out our 3 man tent and squeezed in. Not the most restful night ever but fun for all. The boys still request the story I told that night! Good memories! :)
Oh, cursed wish bone. The story here is that we found a wish bone in our chicken dinner one night and me having had many fond memories of making wish bone wishes, wanted to share the experience with my kids. Dave could tell by looking at it which side was going to give. So when we learned Isaac's wish was that he could have "cake and candy to eat every day" Dave stacked the deck so to speak, thus granting Seth's wish of becoming a super hero.
As you can see, Isaac really had his heart set on an unlimited supply of cake and candy. Those are real tears folks! And it took quite a while for him to be consoled! Poor sugaraholic kid!
Too cute to pass up. What prompted me to take this tub picture in the first place was that Isaac and Owen were lining all their tub toys up along the side and making them talk, so funny! But by the time I focused in they were on to me, knocked them down and then played dodge the camera game with me, I think I captured the moment though despite their best efforts.
