Summer Trip To Utah

We went to Utah for two family reunions and had a great time. We got a late start on thurs and so we stopped over night in Kanab. The boys shared a bed for the first time and did pretty well, the fact that it we midnight when we stopped may have had something to do with it too. We were able to stop and see Great Grandma. We love to stop there and the boys were happy to streach their legs. Owen was meeting most of my side of the family for the first time so there was never a dull moment for him!

We spent the weekend with the VC family and had a great time! Seth got to do one of his favorite things: sing "How Firm A Foundation" in the family talent show. OK so maybe it is one of his mom's favorite things, but he did great! We particularly loved spending time up Provo canyon and getting to know better all the great extended family we have!

Dave flew home to work a bit and so it we just the boys and I for 3 days. We got our wiggles out at the "jumping store" as Seth calls it, and nap time was mostly successful! Dave came back Thursday morning and we went to Oquirrh Mountain Temple open house, then lunch and nap time. Later that day we were able to go to the Mt Timpagnogas Temple with my parents and two of my brothers and their wives. I would do that every week if I could! Friday we were off to the cabin, or Green Heavens for my families reunion. We ate great food and canoed and enjoyed the beauties of nature as well as each other. So fun! The drive home Sunday afternoon was scenic since we stayed on the 89 which took us through a bunch of small towns. we stayed over night again and took advantage of the continental breakfast.

Home was a sight for sore eyes, but at 95 degrees it took a while to feel comfortable. The ac was probably running non stop for 8 hours just to cool the house back down! Gotta love AZ. We look forward to another trip in the future. Love to all till then!
