So we tried. We got babysitters 3 times, drove to the meeting site 2 times, actually tried to go up once and all those efforts were all in vain. All I got out of it were empty gas tanks, crushed hopes and this picture with a woman from England that was supposed to go up with us and her husband that day in the balloon. Interestingly enough they were here in AZ following their favorite American football team, the patriot's, (dye hard fans!!!). Oh well I am still torn about making another attempt or not. Call me crazy, but I like to follow through! Plus if we didn't it would mean Dave and I did nothing for our 7th anniversary, except the usuall out to dinner thing. We'll see. Anybody have any other suggestions for us that doesn't depend on the weather? (sorry Kristen but there's no way I'm getting Dave any where near a day spa--his loss!!!)

I say keep trying with the Hot air balloon. I've always wanted to do that and never have. I think it would be an awesome way to celebrate your 7th anniversary! Thanks for the idea :) Isn't there such thing as a Weather man in AZ?? Can't the company give you any sort of heads up before you make the trip? "Do or Do not...there is no TRY." You know who said that??? So I want to see pix from the air one of these days!
Poor Julie, maybe you should take yourself to the day spa.
I'll see what I can do about changing Dave's mind about the day spa. He's just afraid of the unknown. Get him there once, and he'll be sold.
