October Family Fun

For Family Home Evening we have a responsibility chart. Everyone gets a responsibility, there is prayer, song, lesson, activity and treat. Well on this particular night it was daddy's turn for treat. He had some "help" and combined two different recipes to obtain the final product. In case you can't tell they are supposed to be cookies. :)
This is my sweet Owen. We like to play a couple of little games he and I. This one is called Happy/ Sad. We say "Owen (or Mommy) you happy", and then "Owen (or Mommy), you sad." No it's not a very good grammar lesson, but you get great looks like these:
Silly boy, it is so his nature to be happy, that his "sad" face still looks happy! :) Gotta love it! Which I do! Our other game (for documentation sake) is a yes no back and forth game. Only it goes "no not" and "yes do" as per how he has been saying it since he was little.
On Vertuccio Farm, we jumped, pet small animals, rode a cow train, drove little tractors, swung on swings, saw baby chickens and got thoroughly lost inside a corn maze, it was awesome fun for the whole family!

Happy Fall Ya'll!
