We recently had 5 of our nieces and nephews while their parents did trek, (jealous). Isaac has always loved babies, and now that our baby Owen is big he still thinks big babies want or are willing to be held. Well this little sweety tolerated it one time pretty well as long as Isaac showed her a book, and it took 3 days to occur since Isaac is has more smother tactics then settle winning over ones. But is sure was cute while it lasted.
Speaking of CUTE. Argh! I swore I'd never be one of THOSE moms that were always telling other people their kids were cute, like other people needed convincing. But here I am, and I can't help it, but I will try to keep it to a minimum! :) Owen has for a while now, wanted to go potty. He says it with some regularity, and my reply (as someone who dreads potty training!), "you have a diaper on, so feel free!" Well thats not working anymore and this 2.3 yr old is insistant on removing his bottoms and sitting. He sat for a while yesterday night, and actually went (mostly) in the potty while watching BYU get beat yesterday. So we will see. Oh, so not ready for this!
And today, I mistakenly mentioned to Seth how crooked his bangs were from the last hair cut I gave him, and that I needed to fix them. Well he heads off somewhere and I think to say, "but only mommy cuts hair, right!?" Well I guess that was a little too subtle for him. The next time I see him (minutes later) he has cut his own bangs, and hid the evidence under the kitchen sink, since he did it in the kitchen with my good kitchen scissors.
So I tell him I need a picture to show daddy, (and blog about it) :) and then he has to get a short, short hair cut. It actually didn't turn out too bad, and since his hair grows like weed, I didn't cut it all as short as he did in front, a little gel and who knows, it might actually look presentable.

It's nice when you can just buzz there hair after a accident like that. I wasn't so lucky when I was younger.(: Let's just say I had to wait a long time for mine to grow out. Cute pics!
