Well Owens antics got him a big boy bed. Owen has always been such a great sleeper, then one night out of the blue he learned to climb out of his crib and there was no keeping him in! As you can see we tried. He is mocking me right now! See that smug little grin, "ha ha mom! I will be getting out of my bed till 2 am tonight!" And he did.
So the next day, the crib went away, and he got the mattress on the floor while I painted his toddler bed. It took a little getting used to, staying on the mattress, and in his room. Nothing a little switch-a-roo with the door knob can't fix!
But he's got the hang of it now! Oh I love to kissthat face!!!

So cute. Avery is 2 1/2 and still hasn't tried to climb out. Must be a girl thing. We've taken the side off her crib now because she's potty trained and needs easy access. But in the mornings she sits in her bed and calls for me to come get her. I never had that with the boys. As for the kids smiling forward in the picture - they're all older. Except for Avery who was a booger and we were lucky to get one.:) That Owen is so dang cute.
LOVE that last pic such a sweet little face. So far Carsten hasn't figured it out so I am hoping he doesn't for awhile :)
