We love Grandma! We have set in stone one day a month that she comes out for dinner and the boys love it. She pays them just the right amount of attention, and if Owen would allow, there would be more hugs involved too! Seth charms her like crazy, I have to say it might be a special talent of his!
Seth, who is not naturally photogenic I'm afraid, is getting so good at writing. He likes it too, he is now asking how to spell things and will draw and label sweet pictures for me that usually involve me and him and how much he loves me!I have high hopes that Isaac and Owen will one day be the best of pals, but for now Isaac changes between smother brother and Owens tormentor. But to keep me sane, at least they have their moments.
Well here in AZ there has been a welcome break in the hot weather. It's down right cool in the mornings now! Yeah! Which makes training for a 194 mile, 12 person relay race a lot nicer. We each have 3 legs to run that vary between about 3 to 7 miles each. Dave and I are doing it together, really looking forward to it!
The family in general is good, Dave's serving in YM, and I serve in Activity Days. Dave's commute is great, and living "in town" does have it's advantages. We have a fun family vacation planned soon and I will post soon about our camping excursion over Labor day. Isaac will start preschool this week and is so ready, he changes into this whole new serious Isaac when school is involved, I think he is going to surprise us, by showing us a different side of Mr. teaser guy! Now that fall is here all I want to do is get my craft on, and make soup.
Take care and Happy Fall!

They are getting so big! Someday I might update my blog too.
Great blog, Julie! Thanks for the necklace tutorial last night.
Wow, Owen has grown so much, and I can really see Dave in him!
Your boys are so cute, and growing so fast!
Are you guys doing the ragnar race there? Just noticed that they have one in AZ, I think in Feb. I would love to do one of those some day. Sounds like a lot of fun, especially since you and your husband are doing it together. Good luck with your training!
