December Business

Seth found a new best friend, I think it was only recently he stopped talking about Santa this and Santa that. Seth got to meet the big guy, or one of his helpers, up close at his pre-school performance. It was cute, but my kid apparently is not cut out for show biz. He stood in the back and occasionally let us know he actually knew the songs they had learned for weeks by throwing out a line or two once in a while. But he was all over those candy canes and Santa!Yeah for Grandma Lavick. Bless her heart! I wish Owen felt like holding still more to receive the love Grandma craves to dish out. She is a sweet and very attentive, loving Grandma, and we love her back.
Oh, yeah. . . caught RED handed. I wish it would have been a little less red, but what can you do. I was gone and Isaac decided to paint his nails like he had seen his mommy do before she left, and like a foolish mommy I didn't put my polish back under lock and key rather on my bathroom counter, open invitation for trouble right! Well when I got home and descovered the dirty deed, I jumped on line and read hair spray, alcohol and polish remover were my best bet. It actually did a decent job but the scrubbing was intense and my carpet fibers will never be the same. But I had to try since the spot was directly in front of my bedroom door.
