Merry Christmas!

A good and very patient friend took our Christmas card picture(s) this year, so a huge thank you goes out to Jessica! I loved the way it turned out and wanted to share it.

We had a great Christmas! Here is our annual letter:

Where to start? The year started off with a new baby, who recently turned one on Nov. 21, and is a funny little guy with a mouth full of teeth. Owen is a bit of a mama’s boy and loves to give high fives and is the snuggliest of any of all our kids thus far! His favorite game is catch and already has a pretty good arm and aim! (If we do say so ourselves).

In addition to an expanded vocabulary, Isaac’s naughty/ adorable antics have expanded as well, they often make me want to scream and kiss him all at he same time. To say Isaac loves his baby brother would be an understatement. Isaac is already counting down the days he gets to go to pre-school too, and says so every time we drop Seth off at his pre-school teachers house. Isaac turned into quite the little fish like his brother towards the end of the swimming season, another month or so and he would have been swimming on his own.

Still our resident Super-Hero, Seth continually surprises us with his ability to charm, family and friends alike. If mommy has been a good mommy then he calls her his princess mommy. Seth may prove to be quite the photographer some day, we will randomly find strange pictures of cartoons, Isaacs feet, and peanut butter on the camera. Most likely taken when Seth wakes up earlier then mom is willing to. Seth enjoys school and is working through his dyslexic tendencies with the letter S.

Julie keeps busy and then some with these fun boys and her new calling as 2nd counselor in the Primary Presidency. Which means she gets to cover Cub scouts and all the fun primary stuff. She still enjoys being a Webelos Den Leader until a replacement is found, but will sincerely miss that interaction. She has grown as a runner as of late, having completed a recent 10K now has ideas to start training for a half marathon in the near future. But she mostly just enjoys going on long runs to sweat and gab with her friends.

We have all been holding our breath for the end of this semester, as it is Dave’s last, but as you can imagine Dave will feel it the most. As I type we look forward to his graduation ceremony at ASU in two weeks and two days, (Dec 18th). Dave has had a new calling as well that has required much stretching, being Young Men’s President will perhaps keep him equally busy as his schooling did. But it’s a different kind of busy and we are all enjoying the blessings of service. Dave was offered a permanent position at the same company he interned with, which we are infinitely grateful for, and as of last June has enjoyed fulltime employment at Parsons Electric. Dave was able to buy a new, (new to us) truck, and is highly pleased with his purchase.

Our little family is growing not so little anymore and is still strong in the Gospel. We could count our blessing from now until next Christmas if time allowed, but will suffice to say we feel the Lord’s hand in our lives daily and are so grateful for it!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all: our beloved family and friends!

(Cheesy, I know, but true!)

Love: Dave, Julie, Seth, Isaac & Owen
