September was a great month! Lots going on. We had the best rain storms as you can see. Az doesn't get a whole lot of rain (definition of desert:)) So we enjoy it when it comes. Seth was so excited to use the umbrella hat his Granddad & Grandma had bought him when we were on vacation all together last month in San Diego. But we were not so excited to see this little (thankfully) guy taking a swim in our pool! Dave scooped it up into a big bucket and we all jumped in the truck to release it out in the no mans land not far from our house. Had I taken care of it, a shovel would have been involved no dought! (Yeah, that's a rattler).
Seth was monkeying around one day during nap time, I left him alone while he organized his animals, then went to check on him after it got quiet and this is what I found. Security in numbers right!
Owen needed his own tooth brush, so we (I) finally bought him one. He likes it and gets the funniest look on his face while I brush his teeth. He just doesn't like the top fronts brushed for some reason, I remember Isaac was the same way.
And yes, we were still doing this and swimming in September. Infact I think our last swim of the season was late Sept.
The boys love playing with the hose, and had fun taking turns chasing each other around. They can be the best of pals when they want to be.
We make a point to go to Freestone park when the weather is nice. The ducks cooperate pretty well with my picture taking request, I wish I could say the same about my boys!
I can't resist a cute sleeping baby picture. Owen had to get a nap in before a church meeting, and was NOT ready to get up. I took about 10 pictures then I had to poke him several times to get him up. Don't you just love sweater vests!
Ward Campout! It was fun! and sadly enough the first time the whole family got out camping this year. Dave has gone a lot with the scouts, and I took the boys to a friends cabin once (if that counts) so we were glad to go. Even though there ended up being drama, and colder then we thought. But we survived and would do it again.
Busted. I bust him on a regular basis these days. I generally knew where the others where at any given time, but now there is 3 in the mix, lets just say Owen gets a bit longer of a rope then the others got.
This is a cute hat Seth made in pre-school. Cutest darn kitty I ever did see!
We had a great September! I only regret not getting a picture of Dave and I on our 9th wedding anniversery. Oh well, I cooked steak and Dave picked up some yummy lemon dessert from Macaroni grill, and we ate by candle light while the boys watched a show in the other room.
But next year there might have to be a big cruise ship invloved! :)
