Fun For All

So looking at this picture I wish 2 things: 1) that I had stood on the other side of my running companion so you all could appreciate the cuteness of my new shirt (on clearance in the boys section at Old Navy), and 2) that I had sucked it in a little more! (not to mention anything about the window glare). But over all I am just happy the race is over and we did pretty good if I do say so myself! It was a 5k run and we did it in 34 minutes and were numbers 70 & 71 to finish out of about 218 people! and 9 & 10 to finish out of 38 people in our age range of 25-29 yrs old! Yeah us! Now to find a run in March that is not on a Sunday! Dave is the big winner this weekend though! He had his ASU construction management (electical devision) competition in Reno, NV this weekend (which made me and my friend above single moms for 4 days since her hubby was on the same team as Dave). Hopes were not high going into this national competition, however they pulled out a first place win! I couldn't be more proud! or more glad that this whole Reno business is behind us! Dave's work said if they won then they'd pay him for a whole weeks of work, which a lone makes a lot of it worth the effort!
Dave brought me home an iPod touch thing he won and I can't decide to use or to sell it for a cell phone plan! :) Anyway. . . had a great weekend with way to many treats! It's appropirate that my trouble spot is call "love handles" since that's where all the sugar I ate this valentines weekend probably went!
