Trick Or Treat . . . Give Me Something Good To Eat!

At last, Halloween night has arrived! I got myself and the kids all dressed up and ready to go. Got the bowl of Laffy Taffy, Tootsie Rolls and plastic bat, skull, and spider rings ready in a bowl, after I did that I kept finding Seth helping himself! And waited (kind of) for daddy to get home to go trick or treating, (I say kind of because out of total excitement I decided it couldn't hurt to do just one house while we waited, and as we left the house daddy pulled in the driveway. Yea!)

We set our bowl out on the porch and set out. At first we were the only ones out and Seth was a little hesitant. Then at the first house, why we had practiced saying "trick or treat, please" & "thank you" and why we were walking around the neighborhood after dark in costumes became all so clear. There was no hesitation after the first sugar reward!

After once around the block we decided to go visit Grandma. We sent Seth up to her door without us at first to surprise her. She loved it and we had a nice visit with her. Isaac was able to help himself at her house since the candy basket was on the floor. Great Grandma Ros lets him get away with all sorts of naughty things, just for the snuggles. Who can blame her? What a great night! Hope you all had as wonderful of a night as we did! Love to all!
