Wow, two kids in school! Isaac was sooooo ready! he couldn't wait to join the ranks of his big brother at school. Here he is decorating his scissors that came with stickers, he wanted to be all ready down to every detail!
This year Seth had to get a binder and made the front cover insert all on his own. He is totally like that, very artistic and wants everything personalized. I believe this is the first and last time I have been able to get Isaac to wear a collared shirt, he very much a t shirt kinda guy.
The bus stop is very close to our house thankfully and we can see all the kids houses that go there so if we see them running we know we'd better hurry!
Isaac seems to be getting a little nervous, not that he would ever admit it. I found out after school that he was nervous, and scarred he wouldn't know where to go once he got to school. He told me he said a prayer after school that the bus would know how to get him home. He is a bit of a creature of habit, and since the bus went a different route home then it took to get there, he must have figured there was a problem. As a mom I love that he turned to prayer for help! And although in hindsight, I probably should have had a conversation with him about the to and from school part, I am glad he had an opportunity to turn to his Heavenly Father! (We talked about everything else).
Seth was as cool as a cucumber as they say. Very excited, and looking forward to being a big 2nd grader, and putting the 1st grader behavior behind him! (me too!)
Here they are in this years school t-shirt. I am one of 4 PTSO presidents this year and one my my duties was over the t-shirts. A good friend of mine did all the heavy lifting in the design area, while I did the ordering and selling etc....
