We, like so many other families, welcomed an Elf on the shelf this season. The boys were ecstatic, to put it mildly. We swiftly named him Jack. I often found them talking to Jack Seth even hung a stocking for him and drew up bey blade plans for him to bring to the Big Guy for a present for Isaac.
They were on the ball every morning looking for his new spot to watch us.
Here is one of the many (on the cupboard decor above the fridge). "Hi, Jack!"
The exciting day we got Jack, Owen had a pre-school performance. They reenacted a Ukrainian folktale called the mitten. Owen was a little boy who's grandmother knits him some mittens, which he looses one of.
Various animal of the forest climb in to keep warm, and stretch it all out. They abandon it when the bear sneezed everyone out, and Nick (Owen) finds it again.
Well done kiddos! Then they sang "We Wish You A Merry Christmas" and took a bow.
