Happy Mothers Day!

My heart is always so full on Mother's Day. It amazes me how all the feelings of trying for two years to conceive and then to be blessed with a pregnancy comes back to me this day. But it doesn't stop there. After the birth of my first son the vision of motherhood came clearer, and made me so grateful that my mother was willing to do it 6 times! (last the best of all the game right! :)). So happy mothers day to all the outstanding mothers out there in my life (whether you have kids or not!) Thank you for your good examples and to my own mom, I love you!
The primary sang in front during sacrament meeting today and like every primary program I got teary! There is just something about the strength of the youth up front for all to see trying to make their parents proud. While one son was up front grinning (not singing but cute as a button) another slobbering on my fingers, and another kneeling on his daddy's lap watching all the kids, I felt gratitude. It's great to be a woman, it's great to be a mother, and I feel the love of my Father in Heaven as a daughter of God. I hope you all do too! Happy Mother's Day!

I will second everything you said about 'Mom's' day! I hope you had a good day, Julie, you deserve it and so do all the mothers out there!

What a thoughtful post Julie. I can't believe how much Owen has grown. He doesn't look like a newborn anymore!
