This little trailer was lent to us a few times and it helped a lot! We ended up taking about 4-5 loads in it, and ultimately achieved my goal of not having to rent a moving truck!

This is basically what Seth did while we moved. We had all our furniture out days before we moved out completely so Seth improvised! :) Notice the mismatching cloths, yeah -- the rest of his wardrobe was moved too!

Thank you, Thank you to those who helped with the heaving lifting, and Josh couldn't have done it without you & your trailer! (sounds like an acceptance speech :))

So one random day Seth decides the regular old oat meal for breakfast every day isn't cutting it, and requests GREEN oat meal. OK whatever kid, what ever gets you to eat it! Since that day we've had red, yellow, green and pink oat meal. Good times!

Silly boys, they kept at this, and variations of this, up for like 20 minutes. They were both having so much fun that I waited to nag them to eat their breakfast until it just got too silly!

Of coarse our house was covered in boxes, and I don't have to tell any parent about the euphoria of a huge empty box to a little kid. So they played. . .

And played. . . Since Daddy was the photographer on these I didn't get the cute pictures of him joining the fun. What a great Daddy! He even put his skills to work and built a huge maze/house thing for them. They were in Heaven!

And of coarse while the cats away (or occupied unpacking etc. . . ) the mice will play (or get into whatever they are not normally allowed to get into, and make a big mess!). So glad the bulk of that is done!!! Can you say Busted!

I won't claim to be Harriett housekeeper, but I am content with what I have accomplished and plan to take a little break! Maybe in the fall I will tackle the other boxes I haven't seemed to need for over a year, or do myself a favor and just ship them off to DI. Time will tell.

Good for you! I love the box maze for the boys, I seriously don't know why we spend money on toys when a box can entertain for so much longer.
I hate unpacking. DOn't feel bad, I think I have a few boxes from over a year ago that still need to be unpacked! Best wishes

Moving is terrible...but looks like you made the best of it and had two little boys that cooperated. Great Pictures.
