So I have noticed that among my blog friends' blogs a few of you have opted to read a book a month as a goal this year, so my suggestion is what if we were to have an on line book group. Or even just a book recommendation every month. Like right now I am reading "The Peace Giver" by James E. Ferrell. It puts the atonement into layman's terms and in story form so you stay interested. I know that's bad to say, but I have a hard time getting through self help-type books, so they need to grab my attention right off the bat. I am really enjoying it and it's a fairly quick read.
So there you have it. If anyone wants to give their recomendation I am looking for a book for February, or I would read the same book along with someone(s). Just a thought!

I need a Really Really good book to read too. I finished the Twilight series awhile ago and am really missing reading and getting into a new world besides my own at the time. Unfortunately I don't have any good recommendations for now but would be up for an online book club!
I'm all about the online book club. I have to finish the twilight series before I dive in, but my two favorite books are, "The five Love Languages" by Gary Chapman and "No Doubt About it" by Henry Be Eyring. Both are self help, but tell story after story to drive home the points. I'll join your little discussions and then maybe I'll be done with New Moon and Eclypse and can start on the Peacegiver.
I think that is a great idea!!! I am with Bryn on feeling the need for a good book since I finished Twilight. Mostly because I want to have something to pass the time while I wait for the 4th one to come out. I am super busy with life right now, mom and dad hired me to manage their apartments, I still work for my cousin, and I have a darling new baby, and a demanding 2 year old. But When I get a hang of all this stuff, I am in. Hopefully I wont be frazzled for too many more months.
PS we're jealous of your rollercoaster. What an awesome toy. Too bad you don't still live here so you could put it in your fun basement. Sorry to rub it in, but I am still sad you moved.
Great idea! Keep me posted.
I'm in for a book club! I need something to keep me distracted from the fact that it is winter!
